Yes, there are a few ways through which foreigners can have a stake in property in Bali:
1. **Leasehold:** Foreigners can typically obtain leasehold rights to land, which allows them to use the land for a set period of time (often 25 to 30 years) and develop it as they see fit. This leasehold arrangement is legally recognized and can be extended in some cases.
2. **Hak Pakai (Right to Use):** In certain cases, foreigners who are married to Indonesian citizens can be granted the right to use (Hak Pakai) land owned by their Indonesian spouse. This allows them to use and develop the land for a specific period.
3. **Foreign-Owned Entity:** Foreigners who wish to invest in property or land in Indonesia, including Bali, can establish a company (often called a "PMA" or foreign-owned enterprise) to purchase and hold the property.

It is a type of visa and residence permit issued by the Indonesian government to foreign nationals who intend to stay in Indonesia for a longer period of time for purposes such as work, study, or investment. For Investor Kitas, you will get a 2 years stay permit.
